AWStats - Similar to Webalizer in some ways, but clever use of graphics and icons with good browser and robot lookup tables. Also, one of the few to read all Apache and IIS v5+ logs. Shows the usual web statistics: visitors, pages, hits, rush hours, search engines, keywords, robots, and broken links. Works with IIS or Apache using a Perl script, GNU GPL

Active LogView - Active LogView is a freeware (but non open-source) log analysis program which runs directly on the server (meaning no need to dl log files). Report requires Pan-European text download for IE5. Active LogView is small and uses very little resources.

Amazing Log Analysis Software - Reviews of free scripts and commercial programs that give you the statistics you need.

Analog - A very popular, free tool. Includes full C source code. Pre-built executables are available for Windows and Mac; you'll have to compile it on other platforms (should be an easy compile if you know what you're doing). Very fast.

LogScribe - Web Access Logging - PERL CGI that enables a user to log detailed accesses to his/her web pages then outputs a clear and concise graphical statistical description of such accesses.
