DNSTran - A utility to speed up the process of DNS lookups. Works well with Analog. Mac, Linux, Sun, and Irix.

Daniel Scheibli's Homepage - Download - ApaLogFilter - Perl script which filters and manipulates web server logfiles (NCSA Combined Log Format) to reduce the number of lines in the logfile to relevant ones, and filter/adjust lines on the way. GNU General Public License

Eyescope - provides real-time graphical analysis of site traffic

Fastresolve - Fastresolve is a package of programs to process web log files to get DNS and domain ownership information for log analysis. Parallel processing and caching makes results about 10 times as fast as logresolve.pl from the Apache 1.3.9 distribution, and about 50 times as fast as logresolve.c from that distribution. Fastresolve is written in C++ and Perl. It has been tested on Red Hat Linux 6.0, Linux-Mandrake 7.0, BSDI BSD/OS 4.0.1, and Solaris 2.6 and 7 (sparc).

FlashLog - "FlashLog is a free ISAPI filter (DLL) which extends the log file format for IIS 3 (or PWS 1) web servers to include user agent and referrer information. This info is very useful when generating advanced reports with most log analysis tools. FlashLog is better than the WebTrends plug-in because it extends the log file format in a compatible manner." [vendor/editor quote]

Iis2apache - Turn an IIS log into an Apache log. While you can just configure IIS to log in Apache Common Log Format, this program will convert already extant logs.

Logmanage - Logmanage is a program which is designed to perform flexible management of web statistics for a variety of users and main server logs. In its current configuration it is designed to work with http-analyze but should work with any web stats program that takes log input on STDIN and can be configured for the output directory on the command line. Manages a large collection of pipes to the stats program with inclusion and exclusion regular expressions. Can generate stats for lots of different users from one log file or from many log files.

MergeLog - Merges and sorts HTTP log files in 'Common Log Format' from Web servers behind round-robin DNS. mergelog has been designed to easily process huge logs from highly stressed servers, and can manage gzipped files

NCSA Logs: IIS and other internet components use NDSA format for logs, make them usable with RIVER. - NCSA LOGS from IIS and other servers and firewalls are ugly but complete. Our River Tech NCSA Log handler lets you see them better and get them into data bases faster than ever before.

QuickDNS - Speed up webserver log analysis by performing all the DNS lookups completely multi-threaded with this utility. 20x faster than the normal (single-threaded) method. Works well with Analog. Win32. by AnalogX.

WHEREIS - Country from IP Address or Hostname Finder - Reliably resolve an IP address or hostname into the 2 letter ISO country code of the machine's geograhpical location. Fast, accurate and does not rely on ccTLD or WHOIS.

WebTrends plug-ins - WebTrends makes available several free plug-ins to extend your web server's log file format. Features include support for logging cookies, user agent, and referrer, as well as reverse DNS lookups. Versions are available for Microsoft web servers and Netscape web servers (Windows platform).

ext2ncsa - Ext2ncsa is little Perl tool to convert IIS 4.0 Extended Logs to NCSA.
