Diane Rizzetto - Diane Rizzetto was born in 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. She married at a young age and had three children. In 1978 she moved to California and soon afterwards began studying with Sojun Mel Weitsman at the Berkeley Zen Center. After practicing at the Berkeley center for several years, she began study with Charlotte Joko Beck of the Zen Center of San Diego.

James Ishmael Ford Sensei - Received Dharma transmission within the Soto Zen tradition from Jiyu Kennett Roshi in 1971. Received permission to teach in the Harada/Yasutani koan tradition from John Tarrant Roshi, head of the California Diamond Sangha, in 1998. James Ford is also an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, who serves as parish minister of the Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. He teaches at Desert Lotus Sangha, Chandler, AZ.
 
Jan Chozen Bays - Teaches at the Zen Center of Oregon. She was ordained as a Zen priest in 1977 and received Dharma transmission (authority to teach) from Maezumi Roshi in 1983. She is continuing to deepen her own practice by studying with Shodo Harada Roshi of Sogen-ji Monastery in Japan.
