Campus Woody Plant Collection - Describes the history, holdings (4,000 species), and uses of the Collection which spans a campus-arboretum planned and developed to occupy 2,100 acres.
 
Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum - Dedicated as a "learning experience in the making," the instructional arboretum has as its primary function to maximize students' exposure to and participation in landscape design, construction, and maintenance. It also provides the community at large with landscape demonstrations, featuring the complimentary use of plants and hardscape. Hidden Lake Gardens - This endowed public garden, located in Tipton, Michigan, features: year-round educational programs; thousands of labeled trees, shrubs, and flowers on display in indoor and outdoor collections; plant conservatory including tropical plants, arid plants, and a wide variety of flowering houseplants; Harper Collection of Dwarf and Rare Conifers; over five miles of marked hiking trails.
