Central United Church - Brandon, Manitoba, Canada -- Central United Church was established in 1969 with the amalgamation of St. Paul's United(1880-1969), Kemnay United(1891-1969), and First Church United(1881-1969). The Gospel has been proclaimed at the present location since 1882. Disaster struck in June 1986 when the church was struck by lightning and burnt to the ground. The congregation wasted little time in planning the re-building and raising the necessary funds to permit them to do so. In September 1988, the new building was opened and in 1989 the financial obligation of the construction was fulfilled.

Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario - In Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Conference there are 6 Presbyteries, 264 congregations, served by 195 ministers. Our area is a mixture of Pre-Cambrian shield, prairie grassland and boreal forest. Welcome to our diverse region.
