Eudora hackers can leak personal data - By inserting a simple "embedded" link to a Web site in a message's text, the attacker can cause code to execute that could destroy or steal data, and otherwise tamper with, a personal computer. To make such links work, however, a user must have Eudora's HTML feature activated.
 
Netscape leaked too - Browsers "leak" personal and private information. Says Richard Smith of Phar Lap Software, "I sent a list of 19 (Leak) problems to Netscape and Microsoft in these areas back in August (1998). Their response was that there was no way to get JavaScript to (do that). But Communicator 4.0x did in fact, reveal private info to hackers seeking it.
