Oceanologica Acta - a scientific journal of French origin, with an international audience. Articles in French and English, Abstracts in both languages. Published by Elsevier.
 
Oceanus Magazine - a semi-annual report on research at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). The 32-page publication is written by WHOI scientists and their colleagues, edited for a lay audience, and illuminated with full-color photographs and illustrations. Each issue provides several articles on a single theme such as biodiversity, Atlantic Ocean circulation, or research in the Arctic.
 
Oecologia - publishes ecological research of international interest.
 
Paleoceanography - Focuses on original contributions dealing with the marine sedimentary record from the present ocean basins and margins and from exposures of ancient marine sediments on the continents. Published by the American Geophysical Union (AGU).
 
Physical Oceanography - This bimonthly journal publishes original articles on research from CIS countries on the dynamics of the ocean, observational data analyses and methods of estimating oceanic fields. Issues include experimental and research results obtained from expeditions at sea, oceanographic data from satellite-borne systems, mathematical modelling of marine systems, and automation of research carried out in seas and oceans.
 
Progress in Oceanography - publishes the longer, more comprehensive papers that most oceanographers feel are necessary, on occasion, to do justice to their work. The articles cover the entire spectrum of disciplines within the science of oceanography. Essential reading for all oceanographers. An Elsevier Science Journal.

Seabed News - a new internet-based magazine serving the marine sedimentary community worldwide. The bimonthly carries news, stories, synopses of scientific studies, cruise notices, project news and meeting/cruise reports.
 
Tellus - Series A - encompasses dynamic meteorology, climatology and oceanography, including numerical modelling, synoptic meteorology, weather forecasting and climate analysis.
