whatUseek Directory Site Listings:

Key values for Thermodynamics - Internationally agreed values for the thermodynamical properties of key chemical substances, by the Committee on Data for Science and Technology CODATA. Includes standard enthalpy of formation and entropy at 298.15 K.

MELTS Supplemental Calculator - Calculator for thermodynamic data in geological systems as a function of temperature, pressure, and composition. User can select a mineral solid solution and provide either mole fractions or oxide weight percentages, and specify desired temperature and pressure.

NIST Chemistry WebBook - This National Institute of Standards and Technology website provides thermochemical, thermophysical, and ion energetics data. Information and data on gas-phase ion, organic, and organometallic thermochemistry, as well as thermophysical properties of selected fluid systems.

OECD/NEA Thermochemical Data Base Project - International effort of the Nuclear Energy Agency, a sub-agency within the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Chemical thermodynamic data on selected elements and compounds of concern in radioactive waste disposal, particularly uranium, neptunium, plutonium, americium, and technetium. Only Gibbs energies, enthalpies, entropies and heat capacities are provided. Registration is required, and some areas of the website are restricted to group members only.

Table of the Nuclides - Interactive map of the nuclides. Users can click to zoom in on a region of the table or enter a specific nuclide manually. Data listed for individual nuclides include atomic mass, binding energy, atomic abundance, parent/daughter nuclides (if applicable), and cross section values.

Thermodynamic Database - Molar heat capacity, entropy, and standard enthalpy of formation values for selected elements and compounds. Data are given at 100 degree intervals from 200 to 3000 K, and also summarized for all species at 298 K.

Thermodynamic Dataset for Rock-Forming Minerals - Summaries of experimental results for 253 mineral reactions involving 94 rock-forming minerals and the fluid components H2O, CO2, and O2. Values are given for entropy and enthalpy of formation. The dataset can also be downloaded as a complete file.

Thermodynamic Properties of Minerals Databases - Provides access to four databases: Robie, Hemingway, and Fisher (1979); Helgeson, Kirkum, and Flowers Aqueous Species (1981); Berman, Brown, and Greenwood (1985); and Berman (1988). The Robie, Hemingway, & Fisher (1979) Database is available in HTML format and can be reviewed in its entirety. The other databases can be searched by mineral name or constituent elements. The user can specify whether output should be in the form of a HTML table or text which can be copied to another application.

WebElements Periodic Table of the Elements - Interactive periodic table. Clicking on an element brings up a list of general properties and data, and information on its discovery, history, uses, geologic occurrence and abundance, compounds, and chemical isolation.
