Ministry for Culture and Heritage - Provides advice to the New Zealand Government on culture and heritage matters and assists Government in its provision and management of cultural resources for the benefit of all New Zealanders.

Ministry for the Environment - Reports on the state of the New Zealand environment and the way that environmental laws and policies work in practice. They then advise Government on action necessary to improve environmental management.

Ministry of Maori Development: Te Puni Kokiri - The Government's principal adviser on the Crown's relationship with iwi, hapu and Maori, and on key Government policies as they affect Maori.

The Ministry is to do this in a way that recognises and reflects Pacific cultural values and aspirations, so that Pacific people can participate and contribute fully to New Zealand's social, cultural and economic life.
