Old Melbourne Gaol - The Old Melbourne Gaol is a substantial relic of the first permanent prison complex in Victoria, Australia. Ned Kelly was executed here in 1880. The Gaol is now a museum operated by the National Trust of Australia (Vic) and is open to the public. The museum won the Tourism Victoria award for cultural and heritage tourism in both 1996 and 1997.
