Jahangirnagar University - The Jahangirnagar University was formally launched on 12 January 1970 in Savar, Bangladesh. It has three faculties and one institute.

Now there are 13 departments under these three faculties namely School of Physical Sciences, School of Applied Sciences & Technology and School of Social Sciences. Besides, the university has 3 affiliated medical colleges under the School of Medical Science and one affiliated Veterinary College under the School of Life Sciences.
 
Udayan School (Udayan Bidyalaya) - Udayan Bidyalaya started its expedition in 1955 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. At that time it was not called "Udayan Bidyalaya," instead it was known as "Dhaka English Preparatory School." Since 1955 until 1992, it was located in the land next to the Vice Chancellors house of Dhaka University.
 
University Grants Commission of Bangladesh - The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh is the apex body of all the Government Funded Universities. The underlying principle is that the Government should not deal directly with the Universities, either individually or collectively: instead, it should deal with the UGC which, in turn, deals directly with the Universities.
