Junior League of Austin - Over one year, the JLA provides over 70,000 volunteer hours and $937,130 to support 25 projects and programs including: informing the public about Shaken Baby Syndrome, teaching children about butterflies and butterfly gardens, conducting civics classes for those seeking U.S. citizenship, tutoring children and adults in reading, and informing children about the importance of the Edwards Aquifer.
 
Junior League of Bakersfield - Active JLB members volunteer their time and resources in support of various short-term charitable endeavors in Bakersfield. During 1998-99, members filled children's Christmas stockings and Easter eggs, sponsored food and clothing drives, and volunteered hundreds of hours participating in hands-on community projects. In addition, through the Educational Mini Grants project, JLB supports educational enrichment experiences for K-12 students in Kern County.

Junior League of Calgary - Thousands of women in Calgary have volunteered their time and talents through the JLC to help initiate new community programs such as the Golden Age Club, the Volunteer Center, AADAC, Children's Cottage Crisis Nursery, the Ronald McDonald House and the Deane House, to name just a few.
 
Junior League of Charleston, Inc. - Composed of more than 1,200 women, contributing over 50,000 volunteer hours each year in community service, this League shows its commitment to the principle of voluntarism in the variety of projects it has undertaken.
 
Junior League of Charlotte - In one year, JLC members gave over 86,000 hours of uncompensated service to community projects and other efforts aimed at improving the lives of children and families. In addition over $338,000 was raised from one-time and ongoing fund-raisers. The five-year mission addresses: adolescent issues with a focus on teenage pregnancy prevention; early childhood education with an emphasis on effective parenting skills for at-risk children; and family preservation with a concentration on self sufficiency. The major fund-raising campaign, historically held every five years is celebrated with a musical revue called the Follies musical revue. Cookbook available.
 
Junior League of Charlottesville - Since its founding in 1932, the JLC has contributed nearly $1,000,000 and tens and thousands of volunteer hours to the Charlottesville and Albemarle County community. The JLC not only provides service to the community through its programs, but also prepares its members for leadership and active participation in other organizations and volunteer services. Today, the focus is: "We believe the quality of childrens lives can be improved through the education and support of their families."
 
Junior League of Chattanooga - We believe that an emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally healthy child is the product of a supportive, well-balanced family structure. Members support volunteer programs around this belief.
 
Junior League of Chicago - Serving the Chicagoland area for over 85 years, the JLC continues to train women to actively evaluate and respond to changing community needs. Through direct service, advocacy and collaborations with other community organizations, the JLC provides a positive force for change within the communities it serves. Each year, over 2,000 volunteers donate over 200,000 hours to the community and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help improve community projects.
