Springfield Park Nature Area - SPNA is part of the 51 acre Springfield Park complex established by the Bloomingdale park District in 1988. It is a multi-use site with sports fields, playgrounds and other amenities. Approximately 20 acres at the south and east boundaries of the Park are preserved as a natural area with prairie and wetland ecosytems.
